Case Study

Objective

To solve the $50B offline discovery problem by bridging the gap between in-mall shoppers and relevant stores through AI-driven product design. The goal was to build an intelligent commerce platform that enhances product discovery, drives walk-ins, and provides data insights to mall retailers — transforming offline shopping into a personalized digital experience.

Process

1. Problem Definition & Research

  • Collaborated with business stakeholders to map complete shopper journeys and retail touchpoints.

  • Leveraged GPT to analyze market behavior and mall shopping trends, with a focus on the Indian retail ecosystem.

  • Identified key offline discovery pain points: poor product visibility, lack of contextual recommendations, and fragmented in-mall marketing.

2. AI-Accelerated Design Process

  • Utilized Claude Code for rapid prototyping, documentation management, and iteration cycles.

  • Applied advanced AI design prompting through Loveable.dev to explore diverse UI/UX directions efficiently.

  • Created dual design systems — a customer-facing app and a business portal for retailers and mall administrators.

3. Technical Implementation

  • Designed the entire information architecture and user flows in Figma, optimized for mobile-first experiences.

  • Integrated AI-powered business insights directly into retailer dashboards, enabling real-time performance tracking and audience intelligence.

Outcome

Developed a cohesive product ecosystem that connects mall visitors with stores in real time through lifestyle-based targeting and AI recommendations.
This project deepened my expertise in:
